The Five Freedoms

At first I was shocked that so many people did not know the Five Freedoms of our country, but then again, sadly, I didn't remember all five. I only remembered two: Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Religion. I could, though, name all the characters on the Simpsons. Knowing these small facts from this article has made me reevaluate what is important in my life. Is it remembering television shows and characters on them or is it more important to know what our country was founded on? I think I'll be picking up more books in the future.

The Five Freedoms: Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Religion, Freedom of the Press, Freedom of Assembly, and Freedom to Petition for Redress of Grievances.
