These past few years have brought a whirlwind of emotions between becoming employed, moving half-way across the country, and finally having the ability to focus on myself, my weight loss, and my faith. This blog is a reflection of all of these items and how they interact with each other.
…in Michigan. Granted it’s not as hot as Iraq, but our heat index today hit the triple digits! Barely, but it did! :) :) :) Heat index: 100 degrees, Temperature: 93 degrees. Tomorrow the temperature is supposed to reach 95 degrees! Hmmmm…wonder what the heat index will be? Bet it won’t be 125!!! :D
I was born in Norfolk, Viginia, but lived most of my life in a small town in Western Massachusetts. In February of 2004, I moved to Michigan for my first job. In June of 2006, I took a promotion and moved to Texas. Finding myself has been an interesting journey, to say the least.
I know I have strong feelings concerning a few topics, mainly about our country and about public health. I do not intend to persuade people to think one way or another, but this IS my journal, and these are my thoughts. I am always open for a logical debate.
